Bible Verses About Mothers Love For Her Children

God’s love for His children is a love that seeks to protect, provide, shelter and nurture. As a mother, it’s your duty to care and love for your beloved children in all things: spiritually, emotionally and physically.

A mother’s love is one of life’s greatest blessings. It runs deeper than blood and transforms her into an advocate, protector and friend. Mothers find their strength in love to endure babies’ sickness, cry over the heartaches they bring, celebrate their victories and make memories with them that last a lifetime. The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 that “Casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.” The same way God is there for His children, mothers are there for theirs.

Mothers are a gift from God. They are our first teachers and our best friends. They are the ones who guide us and bring us up in the world. They are the ones who give us life and nurture us with love, care and affection. But what do mothers mean to God?

The Bible talks about mothers as a great blessing from God. It is through their love, care and affection that we can feel the presence of God in our lives.

Bible Verses About Mothers Love For Her Children

Short Bible Verse About Mothers Love

There are many verses in the Bible that talk about mothers and motherhood. In some of these verses, He shows us how to be good mothers and how to treat our husbands and our children. The following list will enable you to see just a few of them:

And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Abraham’s faith was not weak. He considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb.

Abraham is a great example of someone who did not let physical limitations hinder him from doing the will of God. Even though his body was getting older and his wife was past childbearing age, Abraham still trusted that God would make it possible for them to have a child together. His faith did not falter because he knew what God had promised him–and that promise came through!

And she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Genesis 21:10-12

And she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son: for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac. And the thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight because of his son. And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called. And also of the son of the bondwoman will I make a nation, because he is thy seed.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

God is the alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. That’s what God told me when he revealed himself to me. I was thirsty for his word, but it wasn’t until he gave me a vision of his power that I realized how much he wanted to show me who he was. He said: “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.”

As a mother, sometimes it can feel like your children are not listening or hearing what you’re saying because they’re so preoccupied with their own lives. But God is always speaking through his word—and that’s true whether your kids are listening or not!

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

If you overcome, you will inherit all things and be My Son, and I will be your Father. (Revelation 2:7)

But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (Colossians 3:25)

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. (Deuteronomy 30:6)

Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

The KJV says this about mothers:

1 The Bible tells us that God loves the mother and her children (Deuteronomy 7:9).

2 Our Lord Jesus Christ said, “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).

3 The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

4 A child who has been trained by his mother or father will be blessed by God.

So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

The Apostle Paul taught that we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. What does this mean?

The Bible teaches us that we are not children of our physical mother. If you were raised by your biological mother, you can easily see this truth in action. Your mom may have been a good person or a bad one; she may have loved you or neglected you; she may have been abusive or loving—but none of these things matter when it comes to your identity as her child. You’re still going to be her son (or daughter).

Your identity as God’s adopted son has nothing at all to do with how well your biological parents treated you. The same is true for any other parent who has ever lived: God didn’t adopt us because anyone else was good enough for Him! He did it because He wanted to and because He loves us more than anyone else ever could or will love us!

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

This verse clearly states that we are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. As such, we are all one in Him and heirs to the promise that came to Abraham through grace.

The Bible says, “For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:26) That is why you must live and walk as a child of God, who has been baptized into Christ and has put on Christ. You must also live and walk like an heir to what belongs to you as a child of God—the Promised Land!

Bible Verse About Mothers Love For Child

The Bible is full of verses about love and the love that a mother has for her children. It is one of the strongest, most beautiful expressions of love that God has created. It is almost impossible to imagine what it must have been like during the 40 years in the desert when God led His people to safety. He provided manna each day so they had just enough food to eat, but He would never have been able to provide milk for His babies. The only way they could survive was if their mothers breast fed them. They did not know if they would ever find milk again when they were hungry . . . until one day Moses found some milk on his way home from slaying an Egyptian for mistreating an Israelite. This was the beginning of a tradition that would last even after we leave this world and enter into Heaven.
