When I see a bug, it isn’t just an object that makes me shudder but a being, an entity with its own agenda and the blood of millions on its hands. To the uninitiated, this may sound extreme. They may be forgiven for looking askance at my odd ritual: making a sign of the cross when I see one in my path. All I can tell them is that when you’ve seen Metaebola coming at you from out of nowhere, eyes red and dripping with slime, there are few sights more terrifying.
Dear, sweet little Jesus God Almighty on High, I pray that you take away the bugs from my computer. I understand that a number of them are necessary for it to function, but I really don’t want to look at them, much less touch them. If you could please ensure these pests wander off and never darken my screen again, that would be so great. Please bring a swarm of ladybugs to my computer so they may pick through their guts and lay their eggs in the slime trails left behind. Thank you for all the things you have done in the past, and please thank Mother Mary for helping you out the other night when you had a late night craving. A prayer to get rid of bugs
Dear God,
We come to you today to ask for your help in getting rid of the bugs that have infested our home. We know that there is no way we can get rid of them on our own, and we pray that you will take pity on our situation and send us some kind of miracle. Please guide us in the right direction as we try to get rid of these pesky pests, and help us to keep our sanity as we face this ordeal. Amen.
Lord, we pray to you today. We ask that you help us to get rid of the bugs in our home. Please protect us from the bugs that are currently in our home, and help us to get rid of them. Please also protect us from any future infestations of bugs in our home. In Jesus’ name, Amen
I pray that the Lord would grant me the wisdom to know what pest control methods work best for my home.
I pray that the Lord would grant me the strength to deal with the bugs in my home.
And I pray that the Lord would grant me patience as I wait for things to get better.
Please, God, let these bugs go away.
Let them fly away from me and my home.
Let them leave us alone.
I know that you’re in charge of everything, and I believe that you have the power to make this happen.
Dear God,
We come to you today in need of your help. We have been plagued by insects and pests, and we ask that you remove them from our home. We are grateful for the food that we eat and the shelter in which we live, but these pests threaten to destroy both.
Please cleanse our home of these vermin, and may their numbers be decreased so that they do not spread their disease to us or our neighbors. Help us to be grateful for what we have and not become complacent in the face of suffering. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Patron saint of insect infestation
Saint Roch, the patron saint of insect infestation, spiritual reason for bed bugs
The Life and Adventures of St. Roch (or Rocco)
Saint Roch was born in Montpellier, France in the year 1666. He was a devout Catholic who gave his life to God at an early age. His father died when he was three years old and his mother cared for him until he was fifteen.
St. Roch’s mother taught him to be kind to others and she encouraged him to be compassionate toward those less fortunate than himself. Saint Roch heard the call of God at an early age and began to spend more time in prayer than in any other activity.
He became a Franciscan monk at age twenty-two and spent many years caring for the sick among the poor people living in northern Italy near Venice. Saint Roch contracted leprosy while tending to these poor people infected with this disease and remained with them until his death at age thirty-three.
Saint Anthony of Padua is the patron saint of insect infestation. The reason Saint Anthony is the patron saint of insect infestation is because he is believed to have the ability to drive away all kinds of pests, including bugs, insects and snakes.
Saint Anthony was born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1195. His parents were well-to-do merchants who sent him to school at a young age. He became a Franciscan priest at age fifteen and devoted his life to helping others. He was known for his compassion toward people of all faiths and he preached often about God’s love. He was also known for miraculous powers such as healing the sick and casting out demons from possessed people.
Saint Anthony’s feast day is June 13th each year. People pray to him for help with problems similar to those mentioned above plus protection against fire and water damage caused by floods or other disasters such as earthquakes or tornadoes.
Spiritual reason for bed bugs
There are many reasons why bed bugs like to live in our homes. They feed on our blood and they can survive for up to 18 months without a meal. But what are the spiritual reasons behind these creepy little critters?
The first time I encountered bed bugs was when I was living in Rome, and I discovered them on my bed just after moving in. It was a huge shock, but since then I’ve learned a lot about them.
I’ve found that they’re attracted to negative energy and emotions — which explains why they seem to show up at the worst possible times!
The best way to keep them away is by being positive, loving and happy. If you feel stressed or depressed about something, try meditating or practicing yoga — it’ll help clear your mind and keep those pesky little bugs away!
There are a number of different reasons why bed bugs might enter your home. They can hitch a ride on clothing, bags or luggage that was in close proximity to an infested area. You can also bring them home unknowingly by carrying them inside your clothing.
If you have guests staying with you, they could be bringing bed bugs along with them as well. Alternatively, if you live in an area that has a high concentration of bed bugs or if there has been an outbreak in your neighborhood, it is possible that you will get them too.
Another reason why people get bed bugs is because they have not had their homes inspected for them and are unaware that there are any in the area until they arrive at their destination and begin to notice bites on their bodies after spending time on the couch or in bed at night.
The truth is that no one knows exactly what causes some people to be more susceptible to getting bitten by these insects than others; however, there are certain factors that seem to increase your chances of being infested by them. For example:
