Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me. I thank You for sending Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in Your power and grace that sustain and restore me.
Loving Father, touch me now with Your healing hands, for I believe that Your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the Most Precious Blood of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.
Prayer to virgin Mary Undoer of knots
Cast anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus’ Precious Blood.
Let the fire of Your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function.
Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart. Saturate my entire being with Your presence, love, joy, and peace and draw me ever closer to You every moment of my life.
And Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to do Your works so that my life will bring glory and honor to Your Holy Name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
For the President, the First Lady, and our country during this critical moment.
In March, Pope Francis offered the following prayers to be said at the conclusion of the rosary — petitions in a time of pandemic, praying for hope and healing from the coronavirus.
Let us pray.
O Mary,
You shine continuously on our journey
as a sign of salvation and hope.
We entrust ourselves to you, Health of the Sick,
who, at the foot of the cross,
were united with Jesus’ suffering,
and persevered in your faith.
“Protectress of the Roman people,”
you know our needs,
and we know that you will provide,
so that, as at Cana in Galilee,
joy and celebration may return
after this time of trial.
Help us, Mother of Divine Love,
to conform ourselves to the will of the Father
and to do what Jesus tells us.
For he took upon himself our suffering,
and burdened himself with our sorrows
to bring us, through the cross,
to the joy of the Resurrection.
Amen.
We fly to your protection,
O Holy Mother of God;
Do not despise our petitions
in our necessities,
but deliver us always
from every danger,
O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.
“We fly to your protection, O Holy Mother of God.”
In the present tragic situation, when the whole world is prey to suffering and anxiety, we fly to you, Mother of God and our mother, and seek refuge under your protection.
Virgin Mary, turn your merciful eyes toward us amid this coronavirus pandemic. Comfort those who are distraught and mourn their loved ones who have died, and at times are buried in a way that grieves them deeply. Be close to those who are concerned for their loved ones who are sick and who, in order to prevent the spread of the disease, cannot be close to them. Fill with hope those who are troubled by the uncertainty of the future and the consequences for the economy and employment.
Mother of God and our Mother, pray for us to God, the father of mercies, that this great suffering may end and that hope and peace may dawn anew. Plead with your divine Son, as you did at Cana, so that the families of the sick and the victims be comforted, and their hearts be opened to confidence and trust.
Protect those doctors, nurses, health workers and volunteers who are on the frontline of this emergency, and are risking their lives to save others. Support their heroic effort and grant them strength, generosity and continued health.
Be close to those who assist the sick night and day, and to priests who, in their pastoral concern and fidelity to the Gospel, are trying to help and support everyone.
Blessed Virgin, illumine the minds of men and women engaged in scientific research, that they may find effective solutions to overcome this virus.
Support national leaders, that with wisdom, solicitude and generosity they may come to the aid of those lacking the basic necessities of life and may devise social and economic solutions inspired by farsightedness and solidarity.
Mary Most Holy, stir our consciences, so that the enormous funds invested in developing and stockpiling arms will instead be spent on promoting effective research on how to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.
Beloved Mother, help us realize that we are all members of one great family and to recognize the bond that unites us, so that, in a spirit of fraternity and solidarity, we can help to alleviate countless situations of poverty and need. Make us strong in faith, persevering in service, constant in prayer.
Mary, Consolation of the afflicted, embrace all your children in distress and pray that God will stretch out his all-powerful hand and free us from this terrible pandemic, so that life can serenely resume its normal course.
To you, who shine on our journey as a sign of salvation and hope, do we entrust ourselves, O Clement, O Loving, O Sweet Virgin Mary.
Amen.
Dear Mother Mary, Mother of Mothers! God blessed your womb, and your life, with the joys of having a child. Even on a difficult journey through Bethlehem, He protected your family. On the darkest night, Jesus was born—and you knew the joy of holding your child to your breast.
You understand my deep desire to be a Mother. You have felt my fear and my hope. Please give me and my husband strength and comfort as we try to have a baby. Please take our prayers and bring them to Your Son, who can never refuse you.
Through your intercession and the mercy of God, nothing is impossible. Please bless our family and grant us the grace to conceive a child. We trust in You, and believe in His promise: “Children too are a gift from the Lord, the fruit of the womb, His reward.” (Psalm 127:3) Amen.
Prayer to Mother Mary for Miraculous Healing
Our Lady, Healer of the Sick, Comforter of the Afflicted! I run to you. My body is sick and weak. My soul is weighed down by fear and frustration. I am suffering, and so are the people who take care of me and worry about me.
Please help us and take us into your loving and healing embrace. Please intercede for us! You know our needs, and we know you will provide. Strengthen our bodies, replace our fear with faith, and give us grace for every step of our recovery. Use this moment of brokenness to bring me and my loved ones closer, and discover that in our weakness You become our strength. With trust and hope, we ask for this miracle of healing. Amen.
Prayer to Mother Mary for the Miracle of Financial Providence
Dear Mother Mary, Lady of Perpetual Help, I know that I can run to you for both spiritual and temporal needs.
I stand in front of you now, asking for financial blessing. Please help me surrender all my debts and fears about money to the Lord. Please provide me with what I need, and the means to take care of the people who depend on me.
God is powerful, merciful and abundant. I only have to look to Nature to see how His graces can overflow. Please help me surrender my financial concerns to Him, and open my heart so I can fully receive His gifts. I trust that He will provide. I hold on to His promise that “Ask and you shall receive; seek and you shall find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
Mother Mary, please pray with me and for me. Remove my negative thoughts about money. Give me the wisdom to manage my money well. Increase my faith, so I will always receive God’s abundance with a light, expectant and joyful heart. Amen.
Prayer to Mother Mary for the Miracle of Employment
Mother Mary, I ask for your intercession and guidance as I search for a new job. You know my needs. Please open doors to new opportunities. Remove obstacles and distractions that may lead me away from the path God wants for me. Lead me to the people who can help me and teach me, and experiences that can develop my skills.
Please help me join a company where I can be happy. Give me work that prospers me, my employer, and all the people I work with. Let me be a blessing to them, as they are a blessing to me. Let my job become a way for me to do God’s will, and fulfill His purpose for me. Amen.
Prayer to Mother Mary for Marriage Problems
Mother Mary and Saint Joseph, I lift my family relationship problems to you. Please protect our family, just as you protect yours.
Take away the pain and anger in our hearts. Help us understand each other, and see each other with God’s eyes. Make us realize each other’s worth, and remember the love that brought us together.
When we are tempted to shout, give us the words to calmly express what we feel—and the patience to listen.
When we are tempted to hurt each other, help us see each other’s pain and help each other heal.
When we are tempted to give up, give us the strength and the grace for the next step.
Mother Mary and Saint Joseph, please pray for our marriage. Though it feels broken and lifeless now, may it be transformed by your Holy Love, so we become closer to each other, and to God., Amen.
Prayer to Mother Mary in Times of Distress
Mother Mary, your childlike faith helped you trust God in all circumstances. Grant me your calm and inner strength. Give me perfect confidence in God’s will and greater purpose. When I feel regret, help me stop dwelling on my past hurt and frustration. Help me focus on today’s blessings, and trust that God is bringing me to where I need to be.
If I feel too weak to get out of bed and start to think that there is nothing I can do, then let me lean on You. Show me that God will give me the strength and create the means to accomplish His task.
When I am deeply disappointed, help me to trust in the Abundant God, who has prepared many special blessings just for me. Show me that He never says No—just, Wait.
