Bahai Prayer For Healing

The purpose of this blog is to spread the Baha’i prayer for healing and to provide readers with inspiration, motivation, and hope via the use of quotations and prayers written in a variety of languages. Bahá’u’lláh established the monotheistic Baha’i faith in 19th-century Iran. Throughout the years, this faith has expanded all throughout the globe.

Please call me Joe Hari. The Baha’i Faith is my area of expertise, and I write about it full-time. I have been a practicing member of the Faith for more than half of my life. About this blog, I share my thoughts on the Baha’i faith (Bahai Prayer for Healing). The Power that cures you is inside yourself is one of the most helpful and significant moral lessons in the Baha’i Faith’s teachings on health, and I discuss it in this essay. This post provides details on five particularly lovely healing prayers.

Baha’u’llah warns us to “hear the Word and not the speaker,” adding, “The tongue is a smouldering fire, and excess of speech a fatal poison.” Extreme care must be used so as not to offend with unseemly words, since this is our duty. Remember that all healing in this world comes from God, as Baha’u’llah says: “Not from you, O ye physicians; but from God!” … Get moving quickly to get to Him. Believe that He will do what is best for you.

Bahai Prayer For Healing

Bahai Prayer For Healing

The following is a prayer for healing by the Bahai Faith. It is called the Prayer for the Healing of Disease. This prayer can be used to heal yourself, others, or the planet as a whole.

O God, my God! I implore Thee by Thy Name through which Thou didst lift up Thy servants, and fashion the nations and reveal that wherewith Thou didst guide them to honor Thyself, and exalt Thy word amidst mankind, O Thou Who art the Lord of all names and the Maker of earth and heaven! I entreat Thee by this Most Great Name to heal me , (mention your own specific illness). Thou art, verily, the All-Hearer, the All-Seer .

O God, my God! I implore Thee by this Most Great Name whereby Thou didst enable Thy servants to recognize Thee as One Who hast appeared in Thy majesty and glory among Thy servants; and caused them to become conscious of their stations before Thy face; O Thou Who art the Lord of all things visible and invisible ! I entreat Thee by this Most Great Name whereby Thou didst guide Thy creatures in such wise that they recognized The

Bahai Prayer For Healing

He is the true Physician. He gives health and healing to all who are sick. He can heal the body and soul, and cure the spirit of its ills.

Come then, in the name of God, the All-Knowing Physician, and be healed through His grace. Let your hearts be cleansed from every sickness, and let them find rest in Him.

For He has created man for immortality; yet he has not attained everlasting life on account of his ignorance! He has given him a time for joy and for sorrow; but he does not know how to make use of it! He has made him liable to death; but he does not know how to avoid dying! He gave him a heart that can love; but he does not know how to love!

O my friend! My poor brother! I have sought for thee with such longing! I have come to thee out of great tenderness for thyself! O my friend! My poor brother! If thou hast found me after searching long, what dost thou think will happen when I am indeed found? And if thou hast been longing for me so much now after finding me once more

O my God! O my God! Thou seest me in this day beset with innumerable pains and sorrows. Deliver me from them through Thy grace and bountiful favor, and attire me with the robe of righteousness.

O my Lord! I am Thy servant and the son of Thy servant. I have arisen to serve Thee; please grant me the strength to serve Thy Cause and set myself towards the things that will bring me near to Thee.

O my Lord! I am weak, strengthen me with Thy Power, make firm my steps, enlighten my heart, enlighten my mind, gladden my soul in its solitude and guide it to Thine obedience. Verily Thou art powerful over all things.

Oh God, the Eternal! Thou art the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

Thou art He Who knoweth all things before their coming to pass. Thou art the Protector of all mankind. Thou hast invested every created thing with its own distinct individuality and hast endowed each with a particular grace, that each might fulfill its own role in creation. Thou hast provided for the development of all beings at each stage of existence through Thy mercy and favor, so that they may attain maturity and reach their appointed goal.

We beseech Thee, O Lord of all being and Desire of all hearts! Give healing to those who are sick, deliverance to prisoners, freedom to captives and comfort to mourners; feed the hungry and give shelter to the needy; succor those who have been wronged; raise up those who are bowed down; confirm those who are weak; gladden the hearts of such as are sorrowful; strengthen such as are feeble; heal those who are sick; unite those who have become estranged; guide aright those who have strayed from Thy path; pardon whosoever repenteth before their death; grant forgiveness unto sinners

O my God! O my God! Thou seest me submerged in an ocean of calamities and afflictions, of sufferings and miseries. I am entangled in the meshes of hardships and vicissitudes, caught in the snare of troubles and tribulations. Deliver me from these plagues and evils, from this sea of sorrows, from this ocean of tests and trials.

O my Lord, O my Lord! Thou seest me immersed in an ocean of perplexities and difficulties, encompassed by a world of afflictions and misfortunes. Immerse me not therein, O my Lord, but rather deliver me therefrom through Thine all-encompassing mercy which hath drowned all created things in its billows.

O God! O God! Thou seest me beset with innumerable cares, passing through troublous times and seasons. In every moment I am threatened by some impending danger. Deliver me therefrom by Thy grace and bounty, O Thou Who art the Lord of all names and attributes!

I implore Thee by Thy Name which hath unlocked the gates of heaven for all mankind to protect me from such calamities as would hurt Thy servants or cause them loss

How Do You Pray For Prayer For Healing

Prayer is one of the most powerful and effective weapons in your arsenal. It’s a tool that can open up doors that have been shut for years, or even decades.

Prayer is also a powerful force that can bring healing to your body and mind. Just as there are certain words you can say over and over again to help you get through tough times, there are also specific prayers that can help you with physical ailments.

Prayer is a two-way conversation between you and God. You ask Him for things, He answers them. And if you’re having trouble finding a prayer for healing, here are some of the best ones to use:

There are several different ways to pray for healing. Here are a few examples:

Pray for comfort. This can be done as a prayer in itself or as part of another prayer. Comforting others is an act of love and compassion, which can help ease the pain of illness or injury. You might choose to pray for your friend who has the flu, or ask God to bring peace to those who have lost loved ones to cancer or other diseases.

Pray for divine intervention. Sometimes God uses natural remedies like medicine and surgery to heal people, but sometimes he intervenes miraculously with just a touch and a word. You might ask God to intervene in order to heal someone’s illness or injury if they don’t respond well to medical treatment. You could also ask God for signs that he will heal someone using natural remedies, such as when there are no signs of improvement after taking prescribed medications for several days.

Pray for patience and strength. Praying for patience and strength is always useful when dealing with the trials that come from illness or injury, but it’s especially important when you’re praying specifically for healing from a chronic condition like diabetes or high blood pressure. People often find that their disabilities

The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. He knows our frame and remembers that we are dust. He is concerned about us.

The Bible tells us to pray for those who are sick and in need of healing. It also tells us that God answers prayer in His own way, at His own time, but we should always pray for healing.

Here are some things you can do:

1) Pray for the sick person to be healed from whatever his or her illness may be. If you don’t know what it is, ask God to show you so that you can pray specifically for that person’s needs.

2) Pray for peace and joy in their lives as they deal with the sickness and the pain associated with it..

3) Ask God to strengthen them during this difficult time..

4) Ask God to help them give up all bitterness, anger, resentment or unforgiveness towards anyone else..

Prayer for healing is a powerful spiritual tool. It can be used to heal yourself, your family, and even others who are ill.

Healing is one of the greatest gifts we can give to others, and also one of the greatest gifts we can receive.

Whether you’re praying for yourself or another person, there are certain steps that you should take when using prayer as a healing method.

Here are some tips to help you pray for healing:

1) Prayer is more than just saying words out loud; it’s also a state of mind. When you pray with all your heart, soul, and mind, you’re going to get results much more quickly than if your prayers were half-hearted or lacking in emotion.

2) Use positive affirmations when praying for healing. Affirmations are statements that reflect what you want instead of what you don’t want in life. Affirmations create positive vibrations in your body which help manifest what you desire in life. For example, if your goal was to lose weight and become healthier then affirmations such as “I am healthy” or “My body is beautiful” would be more effective than saying something like “I don’t have any extra weight”.

Pray for prayer for healing is one of the most powerful prayers in the Bible. It’s a prayer that was prayed by Jesus, and He wants us to pray it too!

This prayer is given in Matthew 8:5-13 and Luke 7:1-10. The story is about a centurion who was a Roman officer and he was known as a good man who feared God and was good to his people. He also had an ailment in his servant that he wanted healed. In those days people healed through prayer, so this means that the centurion had heard of Jesus’ reputation for healing and he asked Him to heal his servant. Jesus said yes because he knew that God wanted him to be healed, but he only had authority over demons not diseases (Luke 10:19).

So Jesus said “go home” and they were instantly healed! But what does it mean when Jesus said go home? We need to go back to Genesis 1:27-28 where God created mankind with the ability to reproduce through sexual reproduction. When Jesus said go home this means go back into the womb of your mother because it was there where you began life inside her womb before being born into this world again!

A Prayer for Healing

“O Thou kind Lord! This is a humble servant of Thine, who hath heard Thy call and turned his face toward the horizon of Thy grace. He beseecheth Thee to brighten his face with the splendors of the light of Thy forgiveness and guide him in the right path through Thy power and might, so that he may serve Thy cause. Thou art, verily, the Healer, the Health-Giver, the All-Bountiful.”

I beg of Thee by the ocean of Thy healing and the splendors of the light of Thy countenance to grant that all mankind may be healed and made whole through the penetrating power of the Word that hath gone forth from thy most august Self, O Thou Who art the Source of all grace!

What is the ocean of healing? It is the word that has gone forth from the most august self, which is “Healing belongs to God.” This word has power over all things and penetrates them with its penetrating power. With this power we have been healed, and it has become a healing for us in our hearts and bodies. We ask for an increase in this grace so that we may be healed more fully every day until we return unto God’s presence in fullness and perfection.

We ask for help from thy mighty dominion, O Lord! Grant us strength to heal ourselves through these words: “Healing belongs to God” (Qur’an), which are like waves beating upon those who are ill or weak; one wave brings health while another washes away disease; thus does thy mercy flow forth upon all things created by thee: And what Thou dost give cannot be taken away from Thee—the God Who rules over all that is seen or unseen!

5 Beautiful Prayers for Healing

The views expressed in our content reflect individual perspectives and do not represent the official views of the Baha’i Faith.

A bout with Hepatitis A led to complete bed rest for thirty days, followed by a stringent diet that eliminated fats, fried foods, chocolate, onions, and garlic for a period of two years.

Baha’u’llah exhorts Baha’is to seek competent medical advice. But Baha’is also pray for healing, and the Baha’i teachings contain many beautiful prayers for our assistance. I did both—and I healed. Here are some prayers that I used.

1. A Short Healing Prayer

The most celebrated general short healing prayer was revealed by Baha’u’llah, the prophet and founder of the Baha’i Faith, during his imprisonment in Akka, Palestine:

“Thy name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my hope, and love for Thee is my companion. Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.”

2. A Healing Prayer for Women

Another healing prayer revealed by Baha’u’llah is for women:

“Glory be to Thee, O Lord my God! I beg of Thee by Thy Name through which He Who is Thy Beauty hath been stablished upon the throne of Thy Cause, and by Thy Name through which Thou changest all things, and gatherest together all things, and callest to account all things, and rewardest all things, and preservest all things, and sustainest all things—I beg of Thee to guard this handmaiden who hath fled for refuge to Thee, and hath sought the shelter of Him in Whom Thou Thyself art manifest, and hath put her whole trust and confidence in Thee.

“She is sick, O my God, and hath entered beneath the shadow of the Tree of Thy healing; afflicted, and hath fled to the City of Thy protection; diseased, and hath sought the Fountain-Head of Thy favors; sorely vexed, and hath hasted to attain the Well-Spring of Thy tranquillity; burdened with sin, and hath set her face toward the court of Thy forgiveness.

“Attire her, by Thy sovereignty and Thy loving-kindness, O my God and my Beloved, with the raiment of Thy balm and Thy healing, and make her quaff of the cup of Thy mercy and Thy favors. Protect her, moreover, from every affliction and ailment, from all pain and sickness, and from whatsoever may be abhorrent unto Thee.

“Thou, in truth, art immensely exalted above all else except Thyself. Thou art, verily, the Healer, the All-Sufficing, the Preserver, the Ever-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.”

3. A Healing Prayer For A Baby

For infants, Baha’u’llah revealed this prayer:

“Thou art He, O my God, through Whose names the sick are healed and the ailing are restored, and the thirsty are given drink, and the sore-vexed are tranquillized, and the wayward are guided, and the abased are exalted, and the poor are enriched, and the ignorant are enlightened, and the gloomy are illumined, and the sorrowful are cheered, and the chilled are warmed, and the downtrodden are raised up. Through Thy name, O my God, all created things were stirred up, and the heavens were spread, and the earth was established, and the clouds were raised and made to rain upon the earth. This, verily, is a token of Thy grace unto all Thy creatures.

“I implore Thee, therefore, by Thy name through which Thou didst manifest Thy Godhead, and didst exalt Thy Cause above all creation, and by each of Thy most excellent titles and most august attributes, and by all the virtues wherewith Thy transcendent and most exalted Being is extolled, to send down this night from the clouds of Thy mercy the rains of Thy healing upon this suckling, whom Thou hast related unto Thine all-glorious Self in the kingdom of Thy creation. Clothe him, then, O my God, by Thy grace, with the robe of well-being and health, and guard him, O my Beloved, from every affliction and disorder, and from whatever is obnoxious unto Thee. Thy might, verily, is equal to all things. Thou, in truth, art the Most Powerful, the Self-Subsisting. Send down, moreover, upon him, O my God, the good of this world and of the next, and the good of the former and latter generations. Thy might and Thy wisdom are, verily, equal unto this.”

4. A Prayer For Healing and Protection

One healing prayer not generally found in most Baha’i prayer books is one that Baha’u’llah also revealed during his imprisonment in Akka. This “barracks’ prayer,” cited by Hasan Balyuzi in “King of Glory,” was for the very ill believers who were with him. As a result, fatalities ceased:

“In the Name of God, the Forgiver! Although this evil state in which I am, O my God, maketh me deserving of Thy wrath and punishment, Thy good-pleasure and Thy bounties demand Thy forgiveness to encompass Thy servants and Thy good favour to reach them. I ask Thee by Thy Name which Thou hast made the King of all names to protect me by Thy power and Thine Omnipotence from all calamity and all that is repugnant to Thee and all that is contrary to Thy Will. Thou art Supreme over all things.”

5. A Long and Powerful Healing Prayer

The beautiful Baha’i “Long Healing Prayer” is very powerful. It was also revealed in Arabic by Baha’u’llah in the Akka prison. The English translation was realized by Habib Taherzadeh and a committee, and published by the Universal House of Justice in 1980. Its talismanic nature is very comforting, while imploring God to heal “every sick, diseased, and poor one.” It begins, “He is the Healer, the Sufficer, the Helper, the All-Forgiving, the All-Merciful.” The complete version in English may be read here. My favorite musical version is by Christina Frith and is entitled “He is the Healer,” available on iTunes.

If you or a loved one is ill, saying these beautiful Baha’i healing prayers may help you as much as they helped me.
