Bible Verses About Hypocrites KJV

God hates hypocrites because they are fake Christians who pretend they are Christians when they really don’t care about God or people. God wants us to be genuine and honest with Him, even if it means admitting our sins and shortcomings.

God hates hypocrisy because He is a God of truth and justice. God cannot tolerate liars, cheaters, or thieves. He does not want His children to be like them.

Jesus said that you can tell a tree by its fruit (Matthew 7:16-20). If your life produces good things such as love, joy, peace, and patience then you are a genuine believer in Jesus Christ (Galatians 5:22-23).

Bible Verses About Hypocrites KJV

Psalm 14:1

“The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is none who does good.”

Isaiah 29:13

“This people draws near with their mouth and honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.”

God hates hypocrites verse

God hates hypocrites, and there are many of them in the world today. We see them on television, in movies, and even in our own lives. They may seem like nice people at first glance, but they’re actually hiding their true nature behind an act that they put on to fool others into thinking that they’re good people.

God hates hypocrites because they are not real people at all; they are fake people who don’t care about anyone but themselves. They may be smiling and laughing right now, but when you get to know them better, you’ll notice that they’re always angry or jealous of someone else’s success.

You can tell when someone is being a hypocrite by their actions: If they claim to be religious but don’t follow their religion, then they’re being hypocritical — just like those who claim to be Christian but act like unbelievers (Romans 2:17-24).

God hates hypocrites.

The Bible says that God abhors hypocrisy. He hates it so much that he won’t put up with it for a second.

Hypocrisy is pretending to be something you’re not or saying one thing while thinking another. Hypocrites pretend to be holy, but they are not holy at all. They pretend to be spiritual, but they are not spiritual at all. In fact, they are just playing games with God and fooling people into thinking they are good Christians when they are not.

God’s Word tells us that “there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known” (Luke 12:2). But if we tell lies about ourselves or try to cover up our wrong deeds and bad habits, sooner or later those secrets will come out anyway and we will have no choice but to face the consequences of our actions

The word hypocrite comes from a Greek word meaning “actor.” A hypocrite is a person who pretends to be something he or she isn’t, for example, a church member who does not attend church regularly.

God hates hypocrisy because it is an insult to Him and His holiness. A hypocrite makes God look bad by what he says and does not do. We may think that hypocrisy is no big deal, but God says it is a very serious offense against Him.

The book of Proverbs lists many types of hypocrites:

• Those who refuse to listen to wise advice (Proverbs 12:15)

• Those who mock the poor (Proverbs 17:5)

• Those who are lazy at home (Proverbs 18:9)

• Those who are false in their friendship (Proverbs 19:4)

Again, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. (Luke 18:25)

The Pharisees were very strict about following the Law and traditions of God. But Jesus said that they were hypocrites because they did not obey the Law or the prophets. He said that they were blind guides who strayed from the truth. (Matthew 23:13-15)

God hates hypocrisy because he wants us to be sincere in our worship and service to him. The Bible says: “Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” (1 Peter 5:6)

1 Samuel 2:22-23

“Now Eli was very old, and he kept hearing all that his sons were doing to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who served at the entrance to the tent of meeting. And he said to them, ‘Why do you do such things? For I hear of your evil dealings from all these people. No, my sons; it is no good report that I hear the people of the LORD spreading abroad. If someone sins against a man, God will mediate for him; but if anyone sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him?’ But they would not listen to the voice of their father, for it was the will of the LORD to put them to death.”

1 Kings 12:11-12

But when they brought out the money that had been taken into Babylonian exile from Jerusalem, Hilkiah and Shaphan took it out again and gave it to Coniah son of Jehoiakim and to his men who were going to take him away into exile; and they delivered him into the hands of those who had made him king in place of his father Josiah son of Amon. And Coniah turned back from them and fled into Egypt
