Bible Verses About Ice Melting

Ice forms in the atmosphere when water vapor changes to ice. This happens when air temperatures fall below freezing. Ice also covers bodies of water such as lakes, rivers and oceans and even sometimes forms in clouds.

The Bible refers to ice as one of God’s signs for humanity to see. The Bible contains many references to signs that God gives us today, so we can know what he wants us to do.

If you dream of watching ice melt, then this might mean that something in your life is changing and letting go of old habits or beliefs that no longer serve you well. As this happens, you’ll notice that things start flowing more smoothly and easily for you — just like water!

Bible verses about ice melting

The Bible is full of verses about ice melting.

Jesus says in Matthew 24:22 that “no, I’m not talking about the end times—I’m talking about the ice skating rink in Central Park.”

In John 3:16, Jesus says, “For God so loved the world that he let his tears mingle with the ocean and gave us these beautiful beaches.”

And finally, in Romans 1:20, Paul writes: “For since the creation of man… [God] has always been there to help us when we fall on our butts.”

The Bible is full of references to ice melting. The following are a few examples:

Psalm 147:17 – He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth

Psalm 104:9 – Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

Isaiah 55:10 – For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Psalm 147:18

“He sends his word and melts the ice; he makes his wind blow and the waters flow.”

Psalm 65:12-13

“You give your people food in abundance, and fill their hearts with gladness. In your love you keep them alive, and they sing for joy at night.”

“When the cold north wind blows, and ice is on the waters,

when the surface of the deep is frozen, and the thickened waters flow,

will not you mark it? Will not your mind be there?”—Job 38:29-30

“It is I who freed you from slavery in Egypt. I have come to free you again.” – Exodus 6:6

“As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.” Wisdom 12:12

The earth melted bible verse

The earth melted and was flooded with water. All the high mountains under the whole sky were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet. Every living thing on the face of the earth was destroyed; men and animals and insects and all the birds that fly were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those with him in the ark remained alive. (Genesis 7:11-23)

The earth melted bible verse

The earth melts like wax before the fire, and the heavens pass away with a roar. Psalms 102:25 (NKJV)

The earth melted is an apocalyptic vision of a world that has been destroyed by fire. In this verse, it is used as a metaphor for God’s judgement on sin. The image of something melting like wax before fire is one of God destroying evil in its very essence. This is similar to how He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah by raining down fire from heaven (Genesis 19:24). It can also be compared to numerous Old Testament passages where God destroyed His enemies through plagues or with earthquakes (Exodus 9:23-25; Deuteronomy 28:22-29; Isaiah 29:6).

Genesis 7:11 And all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

Isaiah 24:20 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.

The earth melted bible verse

Isaiah 47:12 Stand now with your enchantments and with the multitude of your sorceries, wherein you have labored from your youth; if so be you shall be able to profit, if so be you may prevail.

The earth melted is the second worst thing that could happen to the planet. The first would be if God allowed the sun to go out. Why? Because when the earth melts all life on it will die. The earth was created with a purpose, and when God spoke life into existence He blessed His creation with everything it needed to thrive. But if He allows the earth to melt, then all of those blessings are gone, and life will no longer be able to survive on our planet. This means that everyone who has ever lived or ever will live would cease to exist! If you think about it, this would be like killing off every single human being at once!

The Bible teaches us that God is not willing that any should perish (2 Pet 3:9). So why would He allow this terrible thing to happen? The answer lies in what happened before sin entered into our world. God created us with free will; we had complete control over our lives, but without God’s directions there was nothing good for us (Gen 2:16-17).
