Bible Verse About Children Being A Blessing

“Children are a gift from the Lord; offspring are a reward. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands.” (Psalm 127:3-4)

“Children’s children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.” (Proverbs 17:6)

The Bible is full of God’s promises for parents and children. Here are some of the best:

“I will bless you with abundant offspring.” – Genesis 28:3 (NIV)

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.” – Psalm 127:3 (NIV)

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” – Psalm 127:3 (NIV)

“Let us each esteem others better than ourselves. Let us not be proud in our own estimation.” – Romans 12:10 (NKJV)

“Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward.” (Psalms 127:3)

A child is a blessing from God. Children are a joy to parents and grandparents alike. They are innocent, cheerful and full of life. They bring laughter, love, hope and faith into our lives.

Children are an investment in the future of our world. They will one day be adults who will make their own decisions about life and what we do with it matters now as they grow up. We need to teach our children that they can make a difference in this world by using their talents, abilities and skills to help others and make this world better for everyone!

“Children are a blessing from the Lord.” Psalm 127:3

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

“A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal and his children.” Proverbs 12:10

“The unfaithful will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good rewarded for theirs.” Proverbs 14:14

“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; The fruit of the womb is a reward.” – Psalm 127:3

The Bible is filled with verses about children being a blessing. In fact, the Bible says that children are such a blessing that God will give them to those “who fear him” (Psalm 127:3). It’s also important to note that while the Bible says it’s a blessing to have children, it never says it’s mandatory or expected!

What Does It Mean To Fear God?

Fear of God is an attitude of reverential respect or awe toward God. It means that you acknowledge His greatness and understand that He deserves your reverence because He created everything (including you!) and sustains everything by His power (Hebrews 1:1-2).

God does not expect everyone to have children — but He does promise those who do have them that He will bless them greatly. This may come in many different ways: through your own children or through others’ kids who need help, through your grandchildren or even through other people’s grandchildren who need help (Exodus 20:5-6).

Bible Verses About Parents Being Wrong

“Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish them with the rod, they will not die. Punish them with the rod and save them from death.” (Proverbs 23:13-14)

“Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.” (Proverbs 22:15)

“A father’s instruction makes a man wise, And gives understanding to the simple.” (Proverbs 19:26)

“Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for his own sin.” (Deuteronomy 24:16)

“I was a son to my father, tender and the only one in the sight of my mother.” – Job 42:16

“A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” – Proverbs 12:10

“For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.” – Proverbs 13:24

“For I was an hungered, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and you came unto me.” Then shall the righteous answer him saying, “Lord when saw we thee an hungered or athirst or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister unto thee?” Then shall he answer them saying “Verily I say unto you inasmuch as ye have done it not to one of the least of these my brethren ye have not done it to me.” And these shall go away into everlasting
