Prayer For Work Week

This introduction to the blog has been included into my weekly prayers. It comprises three parts: part 1 is about specific issues that I have for the ministry; part 2 is about my general concerns for the week, and part 3 is about my concerns for the unique conditions of a community in which I am engaged. The topic of this article was “Prayer for a Great Work Week.”

God is my shepherd; I lack for nothing. He makes me lay down in lush pastures; he takes me alongside tranquil rivers; he heals my spirit. He leads me down the proper pathways for His name’s sake. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me, even though my path leads me through the valley of the shadow of death. In the company of my adversaries, you set a table for me. When you arrive home after a hard day at work, you should feel blessed, but it’s not always easy to find quiet time to ask God for what you need. These prayers for the next work week provide biblical wisdom as we anticipate the week ahead with optimism, resolve, and confidence.

Dear God, I pray that You will direct my actions this day and make them holy. Please guide and govern my heart to make the best decisions and carry out my work with Your grace and favor. Amen.

Dear Lord, I give you all that I am this day. Please brush away my weariness so that I may be inspired in my work. Help me to discover new ways to reveal love to all I meet. Keep my mind clear and focused on all I need to achieve and give me the wisdom to overcome difficulties and find solutions. Amen.

Lord, bless our journey
through this coming week.
May the pace be steady,
paths made safe,
no obstacles impede,
and conversations
with fellow travellers
be fruitful and uplifting.

not overwhelm us,
circumstances

and in all things

Bless the strangers
I meet today, Lord;
in cafï¿½, bakery,
bus stop, car park,
crowded street.
Their lives a mystery,
sorrows, joys, loves
and deep concerns
so well disguised.
But bless them, Lord,
these unknown faces,
make this day
one of encounter,
not only with strangers
but also with you.

Dear God, thank you for my job. Not just the work I do on my job, but at home as well. Please help me to stay focused and especially prioritize so my family doesn’t suffer. In Your Holy Name, I pray. Amen.

Father of Blessings and Compassion, I know that everything is possible with you. I am facing some challenges at work. I humbly ask you to grant me favor with my bosses. I come against any opposition that has been set by the enemy to cause me to lose my job. I declare that no weapon forged against me will prosper. Lord, I refute any tongue that rises against me in judgment, and I stand firm knowing that everything will work out for my good because you’re with me. Help me to excel in everything that I do. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray. Amen.

Lord Jehovah, Self-Existent One, I pray that you help me to understand that everything that I have, including my work, belongs to you. May I honor you with everything that I do at my workplace from my tasks to the way I talk to clients and my colleagues, and the respect their accord my leaders. Lord God, help me to do excellent work so that your light can shine before men, and they may glorify you, the one and only true God, who I serve. I pray this believing and trusting in your Son, Jesus’ powerful name. Amen.

Jesus, my Savior, it is another beautiful day that you’ve enabled us to come to our place of work. I thank you for my colleagues and me. Jesus, help us to work as a team. Remove comparison and rivalry mentality from our hearts and help us to focus on the greater good, which is the growth of this company. Let this place be fun and help us to live in harmony with each other. In your all-powerful name, I pray, Amen.

Prayer For A Great Work Week

Heavenly Father, I come before You Oh Lord, my God, thanking You for waking me up this Monday morning to embrace the sunlight that shoots down from the heavens.

Thank You for giving me the health and strength I need to overcome every stronghold in my life. And thank You for loving me unconditionally in the times when I may have failed You.

Psalm 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Prayer for Covering and Cleansing
Father, I request that Your Holy Presence draws near to me. Wrap me in Your loving arms and never let me go. Cover me under the precious blood of the lamb.

Cleanse me of anything that is displeasing to You. Renew my mind, my body, and my soul, as I worship You and You alone. Amen.

Proverbs 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.

Isaiah 41:10-12 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Prayer to overcome the storms
When the storms arise, bestow Your tranquility and peace upon me, so that I may not be moved. Work from within me, Lord to bring a revival into my Life.

When I feel broken Lord, transform my spirit, so I can emerge whole again. And, as I pray Lord, use me daily as Your vessel, in whatever way you need me. Amen.

Psalm 5:3 O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch.

Psalm 30:5 For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

Prayer for strength for the week ahead
Heavenly Father, I give thanks for the blessings of seeing another Monday morning. Walk beside me as I endure the challenges of today. Give me the strength I need to challenge the week ahead. May I walk in faith and in your strength.

Send Your angels to guard over me throughout this week, as You lead me into my divine purpose. Bless all that I lay my hands upon. In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen!

Isaiah 26:9 My soul yearns for you in the night; my spirit within me earnestly seeks you. For when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Prayer to Overcome Temptations
Dear Lord, this Monday morning, I pray that You give me strength to be strong for You, amid all the temptations of this world. You know that there are struggles that I will go through today.

I pray that You be with me as I go through them. With you at my side, nothing will be impossible. Carry me when I am too weak. Make me an overcomer. Fill me with your wisdom. In Jesus’ mighty and powerful name I pray, Amen.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

1 Corinthians 10:13 – The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

Morning Prayer for Confidence
Lord, often I magnify my flaws and failures. This makes me feel down and depressed about myself.

On this Monday morning, help me to come to a full realization that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and created in your image.

Bind every negative thought and comment spoken against me. Help me to rebuild and regain my self-confidence, Oh Father. Help me to love myself while, at the same time, remaining humble, Lord, for you said honor shall uphold a humble spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Psalm 104:30 When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

Prayer to remove all obstacles to my blessings
Heavenly Father, as I start this work week, tear down those strongholds in my life. Help me to overcome each and every obstacle that attempts to stand in my way. For You, Oh Lord, are my light and my salvation. What shall I fear?

Break every evil chain that tries to mislead me. Help me to be focused on my present, dear Lord, and let worry fall by the wayside.

Let my heart be filled with joyful praises unto You, each and every day. I decree, declare, and claim that abundant blessings are going to flood my life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen and Amen!

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Prayers For A Productive Day At Work

Lord, I pray for a productive day at work.

I pray that my mind and body will cooperate with one another to complete the tasks set before me.

I pray that I will not be distracted by anything that is not important.

I pray that my productivity will not be limited by fatigue or illness.

I pray that I will have enough energy to finish what I start and to accomplish all that needs to be done.

I pray for wisdom and guidance when making decisions about how best to use my time and energy.

I pray for discernment so that I may recognize any temptation towards procrastination or distraction, so that I can avoid it immediately, and focus on what needs to be done instead.

I pray for strength and perseverance so that when difficulties arise, I may continue working without giving up or becoming discouraged.

Father, we pray for a productive day at work. We ask that you will help us to make good use of our time, and that you will give us wisdom in the decisions we must make. We pray that you will bless those who are working with us today, and that they may be productive and helpful as well. And we pray for all who are unemployed or underemployed; that they may find meaningful work which is in line with their talents and passions. In Jesus name. Amen

Almighty God, I pray for a productive day at work. I know it will not be easy, but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I pray for wisdom and knowledge, the ability to make good decisions and speak with clarity and confidence.

I pray for strength and endurance so that I may face any challenge with courage and grace.

I pray that you would use me as your instrument to bless others today.

I thank you for this day and all the blessings you have given me. I pray that I would be productive at work today, and that any difficulties or challenges I may face will be overcome with your help and guidance.

I pray for my boss, that he or she would be blessed with good health, happiness, and prosperity.

I pray for my co-workers, that they would be blessed with good health, happiness and prosperity.

I pray for myself that I would be successful at my job today, whatever it may be.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God our Savior; You came among us to bring us salvation from sin and eternal death. You are our High Priest who intercedes for us before the Father in Heaven; look down upon me now as I go about my daily tasks; give me strength to endure every trial with patience and courage; guide me in all things so that my life may reflect Your love through service to others

You alone do we worship and from You alone do we seek help. O Allah! Make me one who establishes regular prayers and is constant in fasting and I seek refuge with you from lazyness and procrastination and weakness and cowardice, that I may not become a heartless miser or an ignorant fool or an imprudent liar or a niggardly stingy man or a reckless spendthrift or an evil-doer or a backbiter or a slanderer or a gossipmonger or a liar – for all these are low acts which lead to failure in this world and in the hereafter; O Allah! Grant me good health and make me sound in body and mind and make my family sound in body and
