One precious thing about all this prayer is that we will remember our dreams at night. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference. Now you have created this universe with wonderful precision; and in your sleep you continue to guide it and sustain it. It’s a common problem among many people. We dream and then wake up, never to remember it fully. This can lead us to feel less connected with the spiritual side of life and may give us a feeling of emptiness in regards to spirituality. The reason we don’t dream is because our mind wants to forget them. We’d be tired all day if we remembered our dreams, which is why we have amnesia about this part of our lives, just like we have amnesia about our creation (the details are sketchy). Sometimes we place so many demands on ourselves that to remember all the things we need to do is perhaps a lost cause. But there are things we can do to help us remember things more easily, such as remembering dreams.

If you can easily remember events, wedding, business deals that took place years back; your customers, those that willingly to pay your debt, ask yourself this question, why is it so difficult for you to remember a dream of 3 minutes?
The devil has cheated so many believers, including pastors. Some are even proud that they don’t dream. How can God show you something in the dream and you said it doesn’t matter? How can God instruct or warn you many times in the dream and conclude that the dream is a figment of your imagination or your daily activities.
Its time to open your spiritual antenna to know deep things about your dreams. The more you determine to know the meaning of your dream, the better for you. And the more the devil will begin to trembles. Its not just enough to forget or lost your dreams, you must also know who and who was involved in the dream. DIGGING IN THE BOOK OF DANIEL 2 TO EXPLAIN THIS TOPIC
The era of lost dreams begins with King Nebuchadnezzar. He had a troubled dream that takes away his peace and remove his attention on the things around him. This man was so disturbed that he had to call the magicians, astrologers, sorcerers and the Chaldeans to explain his forgettable dream. The Bible says, Nebuchadnezzar could not sleep because of that particular dream he could not remember. What happened? He threatened to kill them if they could not show him what transpired in his dream, and have their long term investment wasted.
The story of this troubled man is a story we should all learn from. It is a wake up call to every Christian who chose not to find out their lost dreams. A lost dream is a lost virtue. When you cannot remember your dreams, you have lost absolute power over your dream life. To remember your dream is to know whats in your dream. The happiest was written over the face of Nebuchadnezzar because he has remembered his lost dream.
This man could not get himself for several days because of this dream that he forgot to remember. Despite that, they could not trace the dream of Nebuchadnezzar. The more they told him that they cannot show him his dream, the more angrier he become. He was ready to tear cities, towns and destroy people with his power. From Nebuchadnezzar’s decree to kill all the wise men of Babylon sparked off another trouble. Daniel and his friends were also threatened to be killed as well. Brethren, the reason why I am breaking this scripture step by steps is for you to understand the problem behind a person who cannot remember his or her dreams.
You can imagine the boldness and audacity of Daniel to challenge the King’s guard with some questions about the kings intention to destroy the wise men of Babylon. The Bible says in Vs 16, ”Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.”
Lets take it step by step. In vs 19, God had already revealed this dream to Daniel. The Bible says, ”… Daniel blessed the God of heaven..” This singular move gave Daniel the full confidence to interpret the king’s dream. And Daniel thanked the God that revealeth secret things unto him. When Daniel went to the house, a house that an ordinary person cannot enter; He went there to interpret some part of the dream to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. in vs 24 Again, Daniel went to meet Arioch whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Bbaylon, He declared unto this words: Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.
ARIOCH BROUGHT DANIEL BEFORE THE KING
Therefore, this man took our Daniel before the king in haste, saying that he has found a man of the captives of Judah that can or will reveal the kings dreams. When God wants to honour a man, He manifest His works through the gifts and talents of that person.
Can you imagine? Even the king was surprised how could Daniel show him his dreams. And Daniel responded with the word of GOD in vs 27, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king; That is, Daniel was saying that the secret of his dream cannot be decode by ordinary people such as the astrologers, magicians etc
He proved to the King with God’s word again in vs 28, ”28 But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;” So from vs 29 – 45, THE DREAM OF NEBUCHADNESSAR WAS INTERPRETED BY DANIEL. Then in vs 46, Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
