Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before you to break every curse that has been placed upon me by my ancestors. Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus to remove all generational curses from my life. Father, please break all yokes off of my life and set me free from any bondage that has been placed on me by my ancestors. Father, I ask you to help me to receive the blessings that are already mine through Christ, but which are being hindered by demonic forces. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
Before you start skipping this article because you don’t think it’s something you want to read about, stop. I don’t want your prayers to remove a curse. I never did. But there are those out there who need help, and if you decide to continue reading, perhaps you can help them too. The following is information on one such prayer that I would like to share with you. There are several ways to remove a curse from someone. The most commonly known method is through the use of spiritual cleansing. To do this, you’ll need to gather items that can be purchased or prepared easily (such as salt or sage). Once you have these items, recite a few prayers that have been handed down throughout the ages. Here’s one effective example. Anyone reading this knows there is something wrong. There is a curse that comes with a price, and you are willing to pay it. You have searched high and low for answers and there are none. The answers you were given were cheap replicas of the truth. Your stomach feels sick, because you know something is wrong and you know that only God can fix it.
This is a prayer to remove a curse. Some people don’t believe that curses exist but I know they do. When you find yourself under the influence of a curse, it can be difficult to determine what you need to do and where you should go. Sometimes, out of anger or jealousy, one person or a group of people will place a curse on another. Generally, these curses can be removed by a skilled spellcaster if the caster has seveal skills and is strong in terms of spirituality and psychic powers. The curses are also effective if the individual casted the curse knows about it. But sometimes, these curses are meant to completely destroy someone’s life and separate them from happiness forever. I proclaim that “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree'” (Galatians 3:13).
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I now bring the fullness of his cross, death, blood, and sacrifice, his resurrection, life, and empty tomb, his authority, rule, and dominion; I bring judgment from the throne of Jesus Christ against every foul power, witchcraft, black art, and curse. I bring Jesus Christ cursed for me against all curses that have been raised against me—written, spoken, unspoken, or transferred to me.

I bring the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, his blood shed upon the cross, against all blood sacrifices and rituals and their every claim against me.
I bring Jesus Christ, the Son of God, sacrificed for me, against all ritual sacrifices and their every claim against me.
I bring the dedication of Jesus Christ for me in death upon the cross against all ritual dedications.
In the name, and by the blood of Jesus Christ, I break the power and hold of every curse that has come to me through ritual or ritual sacrifice.
In the name, and by the blood of Jesus Christ, I break the power and hold of every curse that has come to me through transfer by another human being.
In the name, and by the blood of Jesus Christ, I break the power and hold of every curse that has come to me through words spoken.
In the name, and by the blood of Jesus Christ, I break the power and hold of every curse that has come to me through occult practices.
In the name of Jesus, I declare every legal hold and every legal ground of the enemy broken, disarmed, and destroyed. Satan has no hold over me now through curses or occult practices, through sacrifices or ritual of any kind. Through the blood of Jesus Christ, I am free. Thank you, Jesus, for setting me free. I order these curses and claims utterly disarmed and dismantled now, through the power of the blood of Jesus Christ, and in his name.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command all demonic spirits that have gained access to me through curses and rituals cut off and banished from me and my household, in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus, I ask you to send your angels now to completely disarm all curses and black arts from me; disarm their every device and render them destroyed. I ask your angels to remove all foul spirits involved in these curses and black arts and bind them to your feet for judgment.
I now claim every spiritual blessing that my Heavenly Father has given to me in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). I claim those blessings right here in the very place of all cursing, by the authority and power of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in his name. Jesus, may these things be fully accomplished now through your mighty name. I give you thanks and honor and praise. All of this I pray by the authority and in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who came in the flesh.
Prayer to break yokes and curses
Lord Jesus, I come before you today as a sinner. I know that I am a child of God, but I also know that there are some things in my life that prevent me from experiencing the fullness of your blessings. There are things in this world that have been placed upon me and my family that are holding us back from the blessings that you want us to enjoy. We pray right now that you would break any yokes or curses that have been placed upon our lives. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Lord, I come before you today with a heavy heart. I know that it is not for me to judge the actions of others, but only for me to be mindful of my own sins and shortcomings. Lord, I ask that you help me to forgive those who have wronged me in any way. I pray that you would show me how to forgive them and love them as you have called us to do. Lord, I pray that you would take away these curses from my life and family line. Lord, I plead the Blood of Jesus over this situation and command all evil spirits involved in this situation to leave now in Jesus’ name! Amen
God, please break all the curses that have been put on my family. I ask that you break the yokes of oppression and bondage from my family and from me. I ask that you remove all the evil influences from our lives and replace them with goodness. Break all spells and curses in my family; break any hexes and jinxes cast on us. I pray that you will send angels to protect us from all harm. I pray that you will destroy all evil plans against us.

I pray that all sicknesses, diseases, infirmities and mental illness be healed in Jesus’ name. I pray that all demonic forces attacking me be broken off in Jesus’ name. I pray that all curses placed on me be broken off in Jesus’ name. I pray that all yokes placed on me be broken off in Jesus’ name. I pray that all bonds placed on me be removed in Jesus’ name. I pray that any evil plans being made against me be frustrated in Jesus’ name.
I ask you Lord to reveal any hidden sin in my life so that it can be dealt with accordingly. Please forgive me of any hidden sins or wrongs that were committed against me or others by them or any other person or spirit being involved in this matter (name them). In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

I need your help Lord. I am in need of your power and grace to break the yokes and curses that have been put on me by my family members who are now dead. They laid a curse on me when I was born but I do not know how to break it. They said that I would never have children or get married or have a career or make it as an artist or writer or anything else that’s important in life. I was even told that if I tried to break this curse then something bad would happen to me or someone close to me like my husband or children or parents. That’s why I have not tried until now because these threats are very real in my mind and heart and soul. Please help me Lord! Help me remove these curses so that my life can be blessed just like yours is blessed! Amen!
