Bible Verses About Husband And Wife Arguing

My husband is an atheist and I am a Christian. We have been married for 2 years, together for 5. He has cheated on me multiple times: once with a woman, once with another man, and once with a man and a woman at the same time. This has been very hurtful to me. He says he is not attracted to men or women anymore but it doesn’t change the fact that he did it in the past. He says he will never do it again but I don’t know if that’s true because he has said similar things before and then went back on his word.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church—for we are members of his body. “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself

In marriage there is no need for debate; there should be no question concerning whose decision it is when a matter arises that needs settling. We don’t have to argue with one another about what’s best for our children or our family life. The Bible teaches us that marriage is an equal partnership in which each spouse fulfills God’s plan for him or herself through submitting to

1 Corinthians 7:1-13 ESV

Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband. The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; n

Bible verses about being hurt by husband

The Bible is full of verses about love and marriage. The following are some of the most important passages on this topic.

A husband is head of his wife as Christ is head of the church, and He is Savior of the body.

Let wives be subject to their husbands as to the Lord, because a husband is head of his wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is savior of the body.

For husbands indeed have authority over their wives, but wives have authority over their husbands in everything.

The Bible says that we should love our spouse as Christ loved the church. The Bible is full of verses about marriage, but one passage that expresses this principle well is Ephesians 5:25-33.

In this passage, Paul writes about husbands and wives submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ. Husbands are commanded to love their wives just as Christ loves the church, and wives are told to respect their husbands.

Paul also says that husbands should not be harsh with their wives and that wives should not nag their husbands (v. 28). Instead of being harsh or nagging, husbands and wives should be patient with each other.

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” Ephesians 5:25 (NIV)

“Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.” Colossians 3:19 (NIV)

“Husband and wife are to be of one mind.” 1 Corinthians 7:2 (NIV)

“So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself…” Ephesians 5:28 (NKJV)
