The key to walking in the power and authority of God is to know who you are in Christ.
I have to admit that there is something about the phrase “walk in the power and authority of God” that just makes me feel nervous. It seems so powerful, so big. I don’t know if it’s the word “power” or “authority,” but either way, it gives me pause.
And that’s exactly why we need to talk about it!
Some of us spend our lives trying to find ourselves in this world—trying to fit in, be accepted, get ahead or win recognition. But when you walk in the power and authority of God, you don’t need any of those things because they no longer matter. You are secure in knowing who your real identity is in Christ Jesus!
