Bible Verses About Labor Unions

Labor In a capitalistic society, laborers are expected to comply with the rules and conditions of their work as dictated by their companies. This can sometimes be a major concern to organizations who have several individuals that unionized. Labor unions are formed among workers who have similar issues when it comes to their job such as pay, benefits and ethics. These groups are regarded as organizations that promote the welfare and protection of the rights of their members.

Finding bible verses about labor unions wasn’t easy, not a lot of search volume to be found there. I did find several that stood out and made me think of the topic of unions. I compiled these verses into a list that is easy to read, share, and pray over.

Bible Verses About Labor And Work

In the Bible, God is often referred to as a worker (Exodus 18:1; Isaiah 44:24). In fact, his work is so important to him that he even gave mankind the Sabbath to rest from their labors (Genesis 2:2-3).

As Christians, we should be just as dedicated to our work as God is. We should also treat our fellow workers with respect and dignity because they are just as important in God’s eyes.

Below are some Bible verses about labor and work that will help you put more effort into what you do.
