Forgiveness does not mean that what happened was OK or that everything has been forgotten; it is simply choosing to no longer let the hurt or pain control us from moving on with our lives.

Forgiveness does not mean that you are condoning someone else’s actions, but rather allowing yourself to move forward without letting these past events hold you back.

Forgiving doesn’t mean you forget the wrong done against you; it simply means that you release your feelings of anger, resentment and bitterness toward the person who has wronged you so that they will no longer have power over your life. Forgiveness means letting go of the past so that you can live in peace with yourself and others around you today and tomorrow!
