The Bible says in Matthew 24:33, “So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” This is a reference to signs in the heavens and on earth. In Revelation 6:12-14 we read about the sixth seal being opened, which has just happened. The sun turns black as sackcloth of hair, the moon becomes like blood and stars fall from heaven. We see a great earthquake with all islands removed from their places (Revelation 16:20). All these things are happening now as you read this article.
These signs are not just isolated events but show us that we are living in interesting times where God’s judgment will soon come upon all those who have rejected His offer of salvation through Jesus Christ and His written Word.

The spiritual reason for bed bugs is that God wants us to be aware of our sins. When Adam sinned, he passed his sinful nature on to all of us (Genesis 3:17). The Bible also tells us that Jesus Christ came to die so that we could be freed from the bondage of sin (John 3:16; Romans 6:23).
God wants us to repent of our sins and ask Him to forgive us so that we can receive salvation through Jesus Christ (John 1:12; Ephesians 2:8-9).

I have seen many cases where people have been tormented by demons, but the person is not a believer in God. However, I have never come across a case where someone was tormented by demons and they were a believer in God. So this seems like an interesting question: Can bed bugs be a spiritual attack?
I think it is possible for bed bugs to be a spiritual attack, but there are some things that need to be considered before we can answer this question with any certainty. First of all, we need to understand what a spiritual attack is. A spiritual attack can take many forms, but it always involves an assault on one’s mind or emotions by some form of evil power. It could be something as simple as someone staring at you or saying something evil about you (an example of this would be if your boss told everyone he didn’t like having you working there). Or it could be something as complex as having your house infested with bed bugs or other insects that annoy you so much that they make you feel depressed or angry every time
I had bedbugs and I was so stressed out about them that my husband told me it was a spiritual attack.
I thought he was crazy but the more I thought about it, I began to believe him.
I don’t know if bedbugs are a spiritual attack but I do think they can be an emotional one.
If you look at the symptoms of an infestation:
- You feel like something is crawling on your skin (this can cause anxiety attacks)
- You can’t sleep because of the itching and the scratching (which leads to lack of sleep)
- You have bites all over your body (this can make you feel depressed)
I’m not sure how many people have experienced this phenomenon but I think it could happen with any kind of bug infestation or even just feeling like something is crawling on your skin when there isn’t anything there.
Can bed bugs be a spiritual attack?
Yes, they can. The Bible tells us that the enemy is trying to steal, kill and destroy our lives (John 10:10, 14). God also warns us that we will have struggles in this life, but He gives us the victory through Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57).
The Bible also teaches us that our faith must be tested. We are not exempt from trials and tribulations just because we are Christians.
If we look at the life of Job, we see that he was a righteous man who loved God with all his heart. In fact, he had no blemishes or flaws in his character whatsoever — except for one thing: pride. He did not like it when God criticized him for something he did wrong. So even though Job was a good person who loved God with all his heart, he received some bad news from God Himself: He would lose everything he had including his family members and possessions as well as his health due to an unforeseen circumstance called “the satan” (Job 1:6-12).
I have been battling bed bugs for the last 3 months. I have had them in my home, car, office and hotel. The hotel I was staying at had them and I was bitten by them.
Recently I have been dealing with an attack from the enemy that has left me emotionally drained and depressed. This is not a normal spiritual attack for me because it has lasted for months now.
I know that we are in a season where we are being tested and tried in every way possible but this one seems to be more than just a normal attack of the enemy against me personally.

The Bible states that the Lord will “break the pride of Pharaoh,” and “strike down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt” (Exodus 12:12). It also says that God’s people will be “like sheep led to slaughter” (Isaiah 53:7).
So it’s possible that these things can happen to us spiritually. When we fail to keep God’s commandments and make him angry, he has the power to punish us for our sins.
