Since my stake president was fired, I don’t know who to talk to about church stuff. One of the reasons he was fired was because he dared to share his testimony with a man who wanted to get baptized. This is completely against the law of God for us as Mormon men. No other Mormon man is supposed to be present when we talk about someone becoming a member of our faith, and we are not allowed to share anything about it, even if it is about how wonderful our religion is (which you won’t believe after you deny its precepts). But doubters need help, and once they express interest in baptism, you are supposed to tell them that the church is not right for them. My poor brother, who has been on his mission for two years now and had high hopes of returning home, told me that he left the Church after his stake president was fired. When I went to visit him he started spilling messy details about the Church which I asked him not to bring up again since I might get called in for questioning by the leaders or worse, it could impact my job at Church. The last part was just an exaggeration but I’m sure that’s what many members of the Church would think if a faithful brother or sister talked about these kind of.

I proclaim that “Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree'” (Galatians 3:13).
In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I now bring the fullness of his cross, death, blood, and sacrifice, his resurrection, life, and empty tomb, his authority, rule, and dominion; I bring judgment from the throne of Jesus Christ against every foul power, witchcraft, black art, and curse.
