Prayers To Keep Family Together

Let’s face it — life is scary. We want to keep our loved ones, children, friends, and even ourselves safe throughout the day, emotionally and physically. It’s a natural instinct to protect the things we love most in our life, and lucky for us that we have a little extra help to make sure that they stay safeguarded. Our Lord is always watching out for us, even when we may not realize it or think about him during the busiest moments in our days. But, when we want that extra feeling of safety or crave a little satisfaction knowing that God is listening, there are prayers for protection to read, say, and meditate on.

How to Pray When You’re Not a Christian (or not sure you’re Christian but already a Christian): Before we talk about the steps on how to pray, it is important to know if there are blessings or curses that follow praying. The Bible tells us that no matter who is praying or what he may be praying for in his prayer, if he prays in agreement with God, he will be blessed. That said, here is how to pray, whether you are a Christian or new Christian.

No true parent ever want to imagine burying their child. But the horrible truth is that 2,300 U.S. children under the age of 19 die from unintentional injuries every year, according to Safe Kids Worldwide. And that’s why there are prayers to keep families together and protect children from preventable injuries and accidents.

Prayers To Keep Family Together

Prayers To Keep Family Together

Dear Lord,

I pray that my family will stay together. Even though we don’t always get along, I know you want us to be together. Please help us to work out our differences and love each other as you would want us to.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Dear Lord, I pray that you protect my family from all harm. I pray that you will keep them safe and healthy. I pray that they will always have the love and support they need to live happy lives.

I ask that you give them an abundance of love and joy. Help them to be wealthy in all things that matter most. Encourage them to be kind and generous with their time, talents, and treasures.

I pray for the strength needed to get through this difficult time together as a family. Please give us patience, understanding, and peace of mind as we go through this difficult period of transition in our lives. Amen

The following prayers are intended to be said by a family as they gather together. They may also be used as part of a family gathering at which you want to remember those who are absent.

Prayers for Your Family

Lord God, thank you for our families and the love that binds us together. We pray for the people who are not here tonight, especially those who are sick or have special needs. Be with them and help them know that they are loved and remembered. Help us to accept our responsibilities as members of this family and to fulfill them with love and respect. Amen.

Dear God,

I know that you are the giver of all good and perfect gifts. I pray that you give me the grace to accept this family situation, and help me to be a blessing to my family.

I pray for our relationship as a whole, that we will grow together in love and faith so that we may become more like Christ.

As parents and children, we are always learning how to love one another better. Please show us how to do this more effectively, so that our relationship can become stronger through mutual respect and trust.

Please help us to keep your word always before us, so that we may live according to your will for our lives.

I pray for my sister (brother), who is dealing with such pain right now in her (his) life; please give her (him) courage in these difficult days, comfort in her (his) sorrows and peace in her (his) heart, Lord Jesus Christ; may she (he) find strength in You alone when all else fails her (him). Amen

Dear Lord, I pray for my family and all the families around the world. Please help us to stay together and never be separated. I pray that we will not fight among each other, but instead support each other in times of need. I pray for strength for those who are struggling with addiction and mental illness. I pray for those who are suffering from depression and anxiety.

I pray that our children will have a safe place to grow up in, where they can learn about your love and kindness. Help us to show them your love every day through our actions, so they will know how much they are loved by you!

I pray that we can be united as one body of Christ by strengthening and encouraging each other as brothers and sisters in Christ! Amen

Prayer is the ultimate form of communication with God. We can pray to express gratitude, ask for help or guidance, give thanks for answered prayers, and more.

While prayer can take many forms, it is most often an expression of faith in God — a belief that God is real and listening to us. Faith involves trust, hope, and confidence in God’s character as revealed through Jesus Christ (see Hebrews 11:6).

Praying With Faith Means Believing That God Is Real And Listening To Us

The Bible says that we can have confidence in our prayers because God hears them (1 John 5:14-15). This doesn’t mean that he always gives us what we ask for; rather, it means that our prayers are not wasted words because he knows exactly what we need! No matter what your situation may be — whether you’re struggling with a problem or just want to give thanks — there are some basic elements of prayer that will help you connect with God.

O God, the source of faith and trust in you, I come to you in prayer and seek your help.

I know that you are the Lord of heaven and earth. You are my God, my strength, my rock, and my refuge. You have promised that “you will never leave nor forsake me” (Hebrews 13:5).

I pray that you will strengthen my faith in your promises and increase my trust in you. Help me to rest assured that your plans for me are good and not evil; that they are to give me an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).

Please help me to follow your leading, to obey your commands, and to submit to all things according to your will as revealed in Holy Scripture. Give me wisdom so that I may walk worthy before men who see through a glass darkly (1 Corinthians 13:12).

Enable me to follow the examples of those who have gone before us by faith in Christ Jesus who died for our sins, was buried, rose again on the third day according to Scripture (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). Strengthen my faith so that I may be found blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 1:10).

Prayer is the most powerful tool that we have at our disposal in our Christian walk. Prayer is the way that we communicate with God and receive from Him. It is our ability to speak directly to the Creator of the universe.

There are many different types of prayers, but for this article I want to focus on prayer that builds faith and trust in God.

When you pray for something, remember that God has already given it to you. You just need to believe in His word and believe that He will bring it about if it is His will. Sometimes we get so focused on what we want that we forget about what God wants for us. A good prayer should be focused on what God wants for us rather than what we want for ourselves!

Another thing to consider when praying is who you are praying before taking action against your enemy. If you are going into battle against someone who has harmed you or someone else, make sure you pray first before making any moves against them! The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:44-45: “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for those which despitefully use you and persecute

I lay down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever. Psalm 23
