Story Of Birth Of Jesus In The Bible

The story of the birth of Jesus Christ is one of the most important and well-known stories in the Bible. It tells how Mary, a young girl from Nazareth, was visited by an angel who told her that she would give birth to the Son of God.

After this visit, Mary and Joseph traveled to Bethlehem so that they could be counted in their tribe’s census. They stayed with friends and relatives until after Jesus was born. Then, when it was time for them to return home, they had no room at any inns along their journey and were forced to spend the night in a stable where animals were kept.

Story of Birth of Jesus in the Bible

Job

The story of Job is a strange one. It doesn’t focus on Jesus, but it does have a lot of references to God and to his son. Job was a good man who lived in an area called Uz, and he had seven sons and three daughters. He also owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 pairs of oxen (cows), 500 female donkeys and many servants who worked for him. And then one day God tested him by taking everything away from him: His livestock were killed by wild animals; his children were killed in a windstorm; all his servants died except one whom Job sacrificed instead. In addition to all this bad news, Satan decided to go visit Job as well because he wanted to see how much faith Job would have after everything he had gone through!

Job responded with words like “Therefore I will not refrain my mouth; I will speak in the anguish of my spirit; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul.” And then his wife told him that if she had been there when all these terrible things happened, she would have told him: “Curse God and die.” But instead he said: “You are talking like foolish women talk!” Then finally after three months (or perhaps even longer) God restored all that he lost plus some more—he gave him new children too!

David

David was a shepherd boy, musician, warrior and king who became a prophet and poet. He was also a dancer. David was married to Saul’s daughter Michal, who eventually left him for another man. After Saul died, David became king of Judah (and later all Israel) in c. 1010 BCE. He ruled until about 970 BCE when he died at age 70 in Jerusalem after reigning for 40 years—a long time for someone whose life had been filled with hardship from birth onwards!

David grew up as an orphan in Bethlehem after his father Jesse sent him away because he feared that King Saul would kill him due to their rivalry over leadership of the Israelites (1 Samuel 16:10). When he returned home years later it was during one of those periods when Saul had temporarily recovered from his madness; but soon enough both men were competing against each other again – this time via musical competition!

Isaiah

Isaiah was a prophet and a king. He lived in Jerusalem in the 700s BC. Isaiah wrote about Jesus, including his birth and life. Here’s what he said:

  • “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father.”
  • “For unto us a child is born…and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God…” (Isaiah 9:6)
  • In Isaiah chapter 53 we read that Jesus would suffer for our sins because He was sinless (“Surely he hath borne our griefs”). When Jesus died on the cross His blood was shed for all mankind so that we could live eternally with Him in Heaven!

Zechariah

Zechariah was the father of John the Baptist, who was one of Jesus’s first disciples. Zechariah is mentioned in Luke 1:5-25 and Matthew 1:1-17. He was also considered one of the last Old Testament prophets prior to Jesus’s birth.

Zechariah was the son of Berechiah and his wife Elizabeth (also called Hannah). His parents were righteous people who served in God’s temple and waited for him to come back after being exiled by Nebuchadnezzar II in 586 BCE when he destroyed Jerusalem during that time period because they had prayed to God not too long before this happened as they were still living under oppression from those who did not believe

Mary

Mary was a young woman with a heart for the Lord. God chose her and brought her to himself in order to bring forth his Son Jesus Christ.

God spoke to her, calling her by name and telling her she would be with child and give birth to a son (Luke 1:26-38).

Mary believed this word of God as if it were already fulfilled in herself, so much so that she said: “Let it be unto me according to thy word” (Luke 1:38). She was willing to follow whatever God asked of her even though there was no script or precedent for what lay ahead.

Mary’s faithfulness and obedience led many people from all over Israel to come together at Bethlehem where Jesus was born (Matthew 2:1-12).

In Bethlehem when the time came for her to have her child, she gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped him in cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

The story of the birth of Jesus is told in the book of Luke. The Angel Gabriel came to Mary and told her that God had chosen her to be the mother of his son, Jesus.

Mary went with Joseph to Bethlehem and gave birth to Jesus there. He was laid in a manger because there was no place for them at an inn.

Joseph

When the angel appeared to Joseph in a dream, the first thing he did was mention that he would be part of a great event. He followed this up by telling Joseph that he should not be afraid, which is what people tend to do when they are told something unexpected and life-changing! The angel then reassured him that everything would turn out fine for him because God had sent him on this journey as well.

Although it must have been hard for Joseph to accept this news at first, we can imagine how incredible it must have felt later on when he realized what exactly had happened. And although there were some struggles along the way—like being forced into marriage with his wife’s maidservant—at least he knew deep down inside that God had His hand in everything!

Jesus

Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and the Son of Man, the Son of David and the Son of Adam.

In this article we will look at all these titles in detail to see what they mean for us as Christians today.

Mary gave birth to Jesus and then wrapped him in cloth and laid him in a manger because there was no room at the inn.

The Bible tells the story of Jesus’ birth and explains why this event is so important to Christians.

The birth of Jesus is described in the Bible as taking place in Bethlehem, a small village in Judea. Mary was betrothed to Joseph, and they were living together when Mary became pregnant with the Son of God—Jesus (Matthew 1:18–25). Because there was no room at the inn, Mary gave birth to Jesus, wrapped him in cloth, and laid him in a manger because there was no room at the inn (Luke 2:1–7).
