This is a week of celebration and reflection. The world has changed. We have been born again into a new life, and our hearts are filled with hope. We have been saved from our sins. We have been given new life in Christ. We have been made partakers of the divine nature.
We must celebrate this great event that has occurred in our lives. But we must also remember that this is not only an event in human history, but an event of cosmic significance that affects all creation.
The resurrection of Christ is the greatest signpost in history pointing to God’s salvation for mankind. It shows us that Jesus is who he claimed to be: “I am the resurrection and the life!” In John 11:25-26 we read: “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.”
In Romans 4:25-26 we read: “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” And in 1 Corinthians 15:17-18 we read: “If Christ has not been raised then your faith is futile; you are still under

Sermon On The Importance Of Easter
This is a sermon on the importance of Easter, which is the Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is based on the Gospel of Mark 16:1-8, and was delivered by Pastor Corey Brooks at New Beginnings Church in Chicago, Illinois.
Easter is the most important day of the year.
It’s more important than any other holiday, birthday, or event in your life.
The reason I say that is because Jesus Christ was resurrected on this day, and he rose from the dead to save us from our sins.
Jesus’ resurrection is what gives us hope for our own future resurrection when we die and go to heaven with him.
Jesus’ death on the cross was the ultimate sacrifice for us so that we could be saved from our sins and be with God forever in heaven.
Easter is a time of renewal, hope and joy. It is a time when we remember that Jesus came back to life after being crucified on Good Friday. Easter is not only the day that Jesus died on the cross, but also when he rose from the dead in order to be with us forever.
Jesus died for our sins so that we might be forgiven and live in Heaven with him. He loves us so much that he sacrificed his life for us so we could live forever with him!
We are so blessed to have Jesus in our lives and it is our duty as followers of Christ to share his love with others by following his example of love and kindness! We don’t have to be perfect people; all we need is for God’s love to fill our hearts so that we can spread this message of love to everyone around us.
I pray that everyone reading this will take this opportunity during Easter week to reflect on your life and ask yourself if you are living out God’s plan for your life or not?
Today, we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. This is the most important event in history. It is the reason we were created and it is the reason we are here today.
The resurrection means that death has been defeated and that there is life after death. We know this because Jesus rose again on the third day after his crucifixion.
But this week, I want to focus on another aspect of Easter: The importance of hope.
Hope is one of those things that helps us get through dark times — whether it’s a bad relationship or financial difficulty or anything else that causes us stress. Hope is what keeps us going when everything seems hopeless.
Without hope, we would have no reason to get up in the morning or even stay alive. Hope gives us a reason for living and keeps us going when things seem hopeless or we just don’t know what else to do next.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our faith. Without this foundation, all other beliefs crumble. We believe in God because He raised Jesus from the dead. If that’s not true, then we’re wasting our time serving a false god.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is also a fact that is impossible to deny by any rational person who has studied the evidence. It is also a fact that is easily proven by anyone willing to investigate it for themselves instead of just taking someone else’s word for it.
So why do so many people refuse to believe? There are many reasons, but I think the main one is fear of change. If you’ve been raised believing in an old false god and if you’ve been taught that Christianity is wrong, then it would make sense to keep believing in your old religion until something better comes along. At least it was familiar and comfortable; it didn’t require much thought or effort on your part; and best of all, you didn’t have to change anything about yourself or your lifestyle!
But there was something missing in these people’s lives too – something they couldn’t explain fully until they finally accepted Christ as their Savior; something they
John 20:1-18
John 20:1-18
English Standard Version (ESV)
The Resurrection of Jesus
20 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” 3 So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. 4 Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and also[a]the cloth that had been on Jesus’ head; this was not with them but folded up in a place by itself. 8 Then

John 12:20-33
There are five aspects of Jesus’ death that this passage brings to light. The first is the description of Jesus’ death, which will be apparent by what He says and what others say about Him. Secondly, we will briefly explore the result of His death. Thirdly, we will see the meaning of His death – what it accomplished for us. Fourthly, we will look at the reaction to His death – our response as believers in light of His work on the cross for us. And finally, we will consider how this passage calls us to live in light of Christ’s work on our behalf.
Mark 16:1-8
Easter Sunday is just around the corner, which means Christians across the world are preparing to celebrate the resurrection of Christ. Whether you’re looking for a short sermon to deliver at your church or an inspirational message to share with others as you spread Christian cheer this Easter, these sermons will be perfect for reaching out to your fellow believers. Read on for five ideas on what to preach about this Easter.
The first sermon focuses on how Jesus was resurrected by God in order to demonstrate God’s power. This is a popular topic for sermons during Easter because it emphasizes why Jesus Christ was chosen by God as his son and how his resurrection was proof that he was selected by God. The second sermon emphasizes the importance of believing in Jesus’ resurrection even when it seems impossible or unbelievable. The third sermon stresses that Jesus died so that people will not have to die again after getting baptized into Christianity at their baptism service when they were baptized as babies or older kids or adults; it also focuses on how baptism strengthens one’s faith. Finally, the fourth sermon discusses how Christians should use their lives now that they have been given new life through Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection.
Luke 24:1-12
As you probably know, Luke 24 is the story of Jesus’ resurrection. It begins in the early morning after Sabbath when the women go to Jesus’ tomb and find that the stone has been rolled away. They’re afraid, but then an angel appears to comfort them. The angel tells them to go tell the others what they’ve seen.
The point I want to make about this section is that no matter how scared we are because of our sins and mistakes, God will always be there for us with mercy and forgiveness. Just like the angels appeared to the women with a message from God, so too can He send messages through people close to us or even strangers who we meet by chance.
Luke 24:13-35
As we approach Easter Sunday, a passage in Luke 24:13-35 really stood out to me.
When Jesus died, those who knew and loved him were heartbroken. But then the women came back from his tomb to tell everyone that he had risen! And so they did—they witnessed the resurrection of Christ! What an amazing miracle. But what do you think it means to be a “witness to the resurrection?”
To me, being a witness doesn’t just mean telling people about what happened. It also means living your life in such a way that shows you have taken Christ into your heart and are truly thankful for His sacrifice. For example, I know someone who has been through some tough times in her life but she always comes out of it stronger and more faithful than ever before because she knows that God is with her every step of the way and will never leave her alone. For some people, this may seem like an unrealistic thing—but you can see Jesus’ love in everything around us if you’re open to seeing it—in nature or even in something as simple as the smile on someone else’s face.

How do you find good Christian sermons for Easter Sunday?
To be clear, I’m not looking for the best sermon that has ever been preached, just a good one. It’s a big question I know, and there are a lot of answers. But here’s what I’ve found:
It takes time to learn how to find good sermons. My first few years of preaching were really bad – awful in fact. In the early days, it seemed like all of my sermons missed the mark in some way or another. I was told by some people that they didn’t like my style or delivery (or something else), but most people were simply uncomfortable with my lack of experience as a preacher.
I’ve also learned that you can never have too many options when it comes to choosing a sermon topic. You might think that preaching on Easter is too esoteric (or maybe you’re not into holidays), but it doesn’t have to be! And if your church is anything like mine, then you probably have several different topics for the service that are appropriate for one day only – usually an hour or so before worship begins on Sunday morning. One thing I’ve learned over time is that choosing topics based solely on what seems interesting at first glance often results in boring messages during worship services where nobody really pays attention anyway because they’re focused on something else completely unrelated to faith (like their phones). The best way around this problem? Choose well!
